Radiosity

To edit radiosity settings in OpenCAGE navigate to Edit > Configurations > Core Game > Radiosity.

From here you can modify a variety of settings used by the game's realtime radiosity system to modify the look of the lighting.

Radiosity Lighting Settings

  • Emissive Surface Scale float Minimum: 0 Maximum: 64
    • Defines the scale of the emissive surfaces when considered as a light source.
  • Multi Bounce Scale float Minimum: 0 Maximum: 1
    • Defines the intensity of the light bounces past the first bounce.
  • First Bounce Scale float Minimum: 0 Maximum: 1
    • Defines the intensity of the first light bounce.
  • Albedo Overbright Amount float Minimum: 0 Maximum: 1
    • Defines the intensity of albedo surfaces over the normal physical properties.
  • Albedo Saturation Amount float Minimum: 0 Maximum: 4
    • Defines the colour saturation from albedo surfaces when a light is bounced from them.
  • Specular Gloss Scale float Minimum: 0 Maximum: 1
    • Defines the scale for specular gloss maps in the radiosity calculation.
